When I first started building my business, I was hyper-focused on getting as many followers as possible. Then I heard Kevin Kelly’s concept of having 1000 true fans and my perspective totally shifted.

In short, the idea is that you only need to have 1,000 true fans to make a living. I have found that working on this one thing I’ll share today is what has helped me draw true fans rather than just passive followers into my community.
